Peter Jaramillo, CIH is a proactive, solutions-oriented health & safety professional with more than three decades of experience in industrial hygiene, occupational exposures, safety, and public health. Throughout his career, Peter has personally conducted well over a thousand industrial hygiene evaluations for numerous companies in various fields—including engineering, mining, manufacturing, ports/marinas, oil & gas, health care, education, environmental, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, food processing, agriculture, retail, general office, and all types of construction.

As a Partner/Principal Industrial Hygienist with Delta Bay Consultants, Peter focuses on occupational and environmental health issues and workplace safety to reduce the potential for worker injuries and decrease time lost to accidents and illnesses. By addressing such issues as indoor air quality, noise, chemical/biological and physical hazards, work practices, ergonomics, and general safety conditions, hazards can be reduced, mitigated, and/or eliminated. Specific services include assessing workplace and job site conditions; developing safety programs and plans; providing field work oversight; conducting employee training and staff mentoring; performing document peer review; and providing expert witness and other litigation support services.

Peter serves as an expert witness in the areas of industrial hygiene, occupational safety, workplace exposures, ergonomics, and public health.  His additional litigation support services include occupational health & safety-related research, review of documentation related to worker illness and injury, workplace exposure assessments, air and noise monitoring, and general consultations on workers compensation and other cases related to occupational safety and health. All of Peter’s legal-related services are available for both plaintiffs and defense.
