Glendale University College of Law, founded in 1967 and accredited by the State Bar of California, is seeking an Assistant Dean.

The Law School offers a part-time evening Juris Doctor degree program with an exceptionally diverse student body of nearly 120 students. Faculty include members of the judiciary and accomplished attorneys.

The Assistant Dean works closely with the Dean as a key member of the Law School's senior management team. He/she will provide administrative support in matters associated with academic operations, strategic planning and satisfaction of accreditation standards.

Professionally, candidates will possess significant experience as an attorney, will have fulfilled their goals as a practitioner and be seeking a full-time career in legal education. Prior experience in academia not required.

The collaborative nature of this position requires an energized individual with a versatile skill set including superior writing skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and qualitative experience with databases/information technology.

The Assistant Dean's proposed schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., M-Th, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays. Compensation includes a starting salary of $60k, health insurance, vacation and the considerable benefits of working in an intellectually stimulating, moderately paced, cooperative environment.
