DEPUTY COUNTY COUNSEL The County of Riverside Office of County Counsel is seeking highly motivated, career-oriented attorneys with excellent research, writing and communication skills, the ability to think strategically and creatively, inspire confidence and the desire to assume responsibility and work cooperatively on complex and fast-moving projects and cases. The three (3) Deputy County Counsel level II through IV positions are offered, based on experience. The three (3) recruited positions include: (1)an Environmental attorney with extensive experience (including litigation) in CEQA and land use, and knowledge of NPDES; (2)an Economic Development Agency attorney with transactional, governmental, regulatory compliance and litigation experience; knowledge of affordable housing, Public Records Act and redevelopment dissolution; and (3)a Civil litigation attorney with extensive experience in defending Government Claims Act, Civil Rights Act, construction or other cases brought against municipalities.
