Dismal Job Numbers for Law Grads

As a new crop of hopefuls begins law school in California this season, many graduates from the class of 2011 are still looking for any employment - let alone a job that requires bar passage - according to recent data from the American Bar Association.

We have averaged the employment data from 2011 graduates of ABA-accredited law schools in California, and the results may sober matriculating students - who, on average, are about to amass $100,000 in debt, finds Brian Tamanaha, author of Failing Law Schools.
